What should I get? An HDD or an SSD?

I going to get a new computer soon, and I have a hard time deciding between a 1.5 TB Raid 0 performance HDD or a 512 GB Raid 0 performance SSD. I like the SSD because of its speed and usability, but I can't get over the fact that it has a limit on read/write cycles.
