How do you make websites like Gaia Online?

sorry to break it to you but making a website and game like that would take considerable money and time, something most teenagers don't have. But just for the sake of the question I will break it down a bit. Creating the website is definitely possible. You would have to know php and possibly javascript but your "geeks" could probably pull it off. The problem is with the game. Creating a game like Gaia would require a server that costs money to keep up. To top it off, running a server, the animations in the game, and all the other stuff required would require multiple employees and even more money.
